As an Indie Author, I write from Williamstown, a bayside village overlooking the grand city of Melbourne. I specialise in political thrillers, writing about the exotic mystery of politics and its art of power and persuasion, and the quirky folks who wish to lead, or perhaps mislead, the electorate.

I was once a political insider and I know the secrets of the exotic mystery of politics and its art of power and persuasion, and the quirky folks who wish to lead, or perhaps mislead, the electorate. I served as a federal politician in the national parliament of Australia which allow my books added authenticity.

There is a political story everywhere, and as an insider, I know the tribalism, the warped egos, and the ruthless lonely life of a politician, and Iwrite thrilling character driven stories about this mysterious world.

My somewhat eclectic career included service as a business owner, national industry leadership, corporate executive, semi pro-footballer and actor; as a media commentator, he provided expert opinion on the shenanigans of politics, the economy and business policy.

My goal is to create good readable stories and help other writers achieve their writing ambitions.

My Background

I have had the incredible opportunity to achieve many things in my life, and my journey has had many challenges and stumbles. I’ve had tea with Presidents and dinner with Prime Ministers; I’ve met celebrities and strategised with industry leaders; and, I have had the honour of serving the community in the Australian national parliament. I have also met and helped many in the community who couldn’t help themselves, and I was humbled by the experience.

Long before I became focused on writing full-time, I was once a kid with ambition trying hard to navigate the challenges of life. We all have a contribution to make, and my life challenges are no different to yours. So I share with you some of the lessons I learned along the way.
